With autism on the rise, the demand for services from BTLC is only expected to increase. Our hope is that we can build BTLC to be able to meet the demand, instead of building a longer waiting list.
Unfortunately, the operating expenses are more than we receive from Alberta Education or PUF funding. Those of us involved with BTLC are also hoping to expand the school to a larger space and to older children – which will enable BTLC to offer more education to more children for a longer period of time. We are already seeing excellent results with our current students due to our specialized teaching approach and would love to see this grow.

In order to meet our goals of continuing to offer these services and to have the resources to expand the program, BTLC needs your help. Donations of any amount are graciously accepted, and as a registered charitable organization we will issue tax receipts for all donations over $10.00.
Donations can be made through CanadaHelps.org, dropped off, mailed or couriered to Suite 12, 2451 Dieppe Ave SW Calgary AB T3E 7K1 attention Cheryl Oughton.
Thank you so much for your support. While we know that there are many worthy causes out there, when you support BTLC your gift is directly changing children’s lives and the lives of their families.

We are excited to announce the introduction of a new environmental education and fundraising program that will help educate students on recycling while raising much-needed funds for BTLC. It’s a program that will benefit our organization, our community and the environment.
The Think Recycle program is simple. Anyone can collect used or broken ink cartridges, laser cartridges, cell phones, cameras, laptops and MP3 players from the community, business, or personal use, and return them to the BTLC. As a result our school will earn funds for each qualifying item returned.
Through partnerships with The Tree Canada Foundation and American Forests, Think Recycle will sponsor the planting of one tree for every twenty-four rebated cartridges, cameras, MP3 players, laptops and cell phones collected. We request your support in ensuring the success of this cost-free fundraising program. Your place of employment can also support the program by saving used cartridges, cameras, MP3 players, cell phones, and laptops which can be returned to BTLC for processing. Click here to download a letter for businesses and/or anyone else you think might be able to help out!
Your participation in the Think Recycle program will help teach children and our community the importance of recycling, the benefits of tree planting, and will also help raise the funds required for BTLC to continue offering our valuable programs.
