We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

Program Specialist/Educational Assistant

Autism Partnership and Behaviour Therapy and Learning Centre (BTLC) provide complementary programs and are closely linked. As a result, we are currently looking for staff to fill employment needs within both companies; a combination of Program Specialists to provide 1:1 home therapy through Autism Partnership and Educational Assistants to provide classroom support through BTLC for preschool-aged children with autism and other developmental delays. You will be responsible for implementing the goals in our client's program plans within the city of Calgary and making a difference in the lives of the children you will be working with and their families!

Part time: Mon-Fri mornings, 15-18hrs/wk
Full time: Mon-Fri daytime hours, 30-35hrs/wk

You will receive:

We are looking for people with:

  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, desire to make a difference, and commitment
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Post secondary education in a related field (social work, disability studies, psychology, ABA, etc)
  • A reliable vehicle, valid Alberta Driver's License, and insurance
  • Previous experience working with children, especially children with developmental disabilities
  • Experience with and/or an in-depth understanding of ABA therapy an asset

Want to make a difference? Join our Board of Directors and help take our program to the next level! We currently have various Board positions available, depending on your area of interest. We are looking for people who:
  • Can attend meetings from 5:30pm - 7:30pm once per month
  • Are able to volunteer 10 additional hours per month towards Board initiatives
  • Have community, corporate and/or government networking capabilities
  • Have skills or experience with any of the following:
    • fund raising
    • grant writing
    • strategic planning
    • finance
    • marketing
    • public relations
